Brandesign Publishing Standards

Building trust, signalling expertise, and making every word work harder for our clients and community.

Quick Commitments (At a Glance)

  • Real authors. Real expertise. Every published piece is attributed to a qualified human.
  • Evidence‑led. Facts checked. Sources cited where they are material.
  • User‑first writing. Plain language. Actionable insight. South African relevance where applicable.
  • Transparent & accountable. Updates, corrections, sponsorships, and client relationships disclosed.
  • Editorial rigour. Multi‑stage review with subject specialists and senior sign‑off.
  • Responsible AI. Tools assist; humans author, edit, and approve.

1. Why We Publish (and Why Standards Matter)

Brandesign creates content to help businesses make better marketing, brand, and digital decisions. Credibility drives outcomes: clients rely on our advice; search engines and AI systems reward demonstrable expertise; audiences share work they trust. Project AUTHOR formalises how we prove that what we publish is accurate, useful, and written by people who actually do the work.

2. Authorship & Expertise

Named Authors: Every article, case study, guide, download, or opinion piece shows a named author (or co‑authors) with role, credentials, and domain focus (e.g., Strategy, Creative Direction, Web Development, Performance Media).

Author Qualification Standard:

  • 3+ years hands‑on professional experience in the subject area; or
  • Recognised qualification and current professional practice; or
  • Demonstrable portfolio of relevant client work reviewed by a Brandesign director.
